Honorable Mentions and Those Also Involved
As with any creative endeavor some people aren't directly involved 'out front' but in a support capacity even if they have fantastic skills in and of themselves. I want to thank these people and give them a well deserved shout out here and now while they complete the work that will push them to the forefront of viewers consciousness. Without them many of the out front creators would be hard pressed to make the deadlines.
So until we get their info strips up here they are in no particular order:
Michael Reed is a colorist, letterer and inker who has done work on the forerunner strip 'Magnicore' and is also lending considerable skill to one of the more experimental strips being developed for The ADAPT™ Projects second tier program.
Michael Dargo hails from an advertising background and is doing comic book content for the very first time. His hope is to bring the advertising aesthetic to the comic book content he produces while learning the dynamics of graphic story telling in the strip format. All this and doing it on a definitive weekly schedule. We're glad to have him aboard.
Aja Frost has been Editor In Chief of the ScriptGraphics line of fanzines for just over a year (to give me a break and the opportunity to do some artwork!) and will be overseeing the ADAPT™ Project through it's first year. She brings with her a background in book and magazine publishing. Her desire to conquer the digital online universe makes her uniquely positioned to help in the transition from traditional to digital workflows. She's also a creator in her own right and brings that talent to 'A View to a Real' online strip which posts when she has time.
Ben and Craig Collins have been doing work for ScriptGraphics for quite a while. They've been on the production side of the line even though their "WinterWolves" strip may yet find it's way into the schedule. They'll be handling uploads, optimizations and web design when we go to the dedicated website.
Benjamin Daye was another contributor in ScriptGraphics formation days. Particularly in it's second design phase as a digest fanzine publisher. He was a jack of all trades but spent most of his time doing design and layouts to keep creators on deadline and on track. He pinch hit a lot but loved doing it. No way he was going to miss out on this evolution of form as SG takes on another milestone.
And least we forget, Ann Adler. She lettered many a ScriptGraphics fanzine during the second phase of SG's growth. She too wanted in on this project. How could we refuse. Her work is on display on the 'ThunderHawk' strip.
Other creators expressed an interest, and were professional enough to notify us prior to the deadline which led us to develop the Round Robin strip page. Here's where we can run strips bi-weekly or even daily because we won't post anything there that isn't already totally complete. This was done because so many creators wanted to be in but couldn't commit time to a year long, weekly project. In all ways they'll fit the format and size constraints of The ADAPT™ Project but their schedule will be far more relaxed as what they do will only be posted when the entire strip is ready to go and fits the content specifications. If you're a creator and like what you've seen in the strips we've posted and want to be a part, drop us a line and let us know (see the contact form at the bottom of the page) and we'll send you an invitation packet.
